Open after the second post. First two are for Rina and Lark.
"Bulba! Bulba!" Rina was woken up by an insistent something knocking against her head. Blinking blearily, Rina looked as a certain blue sauropod headbutted her repeatedly, making a further mess of her hair.
With a groan, the teal-haired woman sat up, "Whaaat?" With a stretch, she checked the time on her Pokèdex and slumped back on the bed in the PokèCenter, arm over her eyes. It was still the morning, so they hadn't overslept. Apparently her new partner was an early riser.
Suddenly, the previous night's adventure came back to her and she growled, remembering the boy and her new ekans. Guilt rested on her, but she tried to wave it off - he wouldn't listen. But he was still a child. The thoughts went back and forth across her mind about her being an irresponsible adult around a child, potentially being help accountable for endangering a kid, and on and on.
Shifting to stand up, she felt an additional capsule in her pocket - he didn't take the Pokèball. The new trainers should have a full complement of Pokèballs to ensure their safety.
Sighing, she picked up Lark, "He'll probably even just get rid of his others... He's going to get them both hurt, y'know?" Airing her thoughts to her Pokèmon always helped a bit when things were weighing on her. "Maybe we, I, came across too strong. That could well be it."
Smiling, Rina lifted Lark up and coo'd at her, always happy around young Pokèmon. "Alright. Time for me to get dressed. Why don't you go run around, Lark?" Stooping, Rina set the baby bulbasaur on the ground who promptly sat down to wait. Rina couldn't help but laugh, "I'm not going to be going anywhere for a while. I need to take a shower, get dressed, the whole nine yards. Go run around and play. Go find a Nurse and see if you can help."
Lark merely chuffed before leaving in a pout, looking over her shoulder one last time when she reached the door in an attempt to convince her trainer to come with her. Rina, however, didn't see as she was already walking to the bathroom for her shower.
It was just what she needed. A nice, hot shower to try and put last night out of her mind. ... If only she would not think about the thing she should be ignoring. And even such vague thoughts only put them back into her head.
Soon enough, she was adjusting the heat for optimal warmth and stepping inside with shampoo, conditioner, and toothbrush. She would get relaxed one way or another and she really needed to. Showers were just the thing sometimes...
