Amazing, Mitchell thought as he watched the Fearow and their pre-evolutions chased after the Ditto-now-Butterfree in the air, only to be brought of his thoughts as something tugged at his pants leg. Looking down, he saw Electra tugging at his pants and pointing at one of the few Ditto still around. "Hey Electra, did you have fun fighting those Fearow?" Mitchell asked, but Electra became more persistent and kept pointing at the Ditto. After a few more tugs, Mitchell relented and looked up at the Transform Pokemon, only to look in bewilderment as the mass of the Pokemon began to twist and morph. He watched the odd spectacle for a few seconds in bewilderment, only to become frightened as the wild Pokemon began to take on a familiar shape.
"Oh, this is not good," Mitchell whimpered as the Ditto finished turning into Electra, and the Ditto-now-Pikachu got on all fours and prepared to attack. Electra growled at the impostor, clearly not impressed at the wild Pokemon copying her form, only to dodge to the side as the Pikachu-shaped Ditto fired a thundershock at the Electric Mouse Pokemon, with Mitchell jumping out of the range of the Electric attack to avoid getting shocked.
"I better avoid using that Fearow I just caught. After all, I don't need another 'Gobbles', and Fearow is weak to Electric attacks, anyways," Mitchell mused as Electra dodged another thundershock, then shouted to her, "Electra, try using Thundershock on the Ditto's tail!" Electra heeded Mitchell's order quickly, shooting her electric attack in the form of a bolt at the Ditto, and the copying Pokemon cringed from the electric shock before being knocked back. Despite being struck by the bolt, it got up with only some difficulty and glared at the original Pokemon.
"Guess it'll take more damage than that," Mitchell said to himself. Electra, who had overheard Mitchell's observation, gave him a look that could be clearly read as 'You think?!'. However, this left her open, and the Ditto took advantage of this by firing another thundershock at the Electric Mouse Pokemon. "Electra, watch out!" Mitchell shouted as the female Pikachu was hit in her side and fell down, but she quickly got back up and turned to glare at the copying Pokemon, who was sneering at her.
The Electric Mouse Pokemon growled in anger at the duplicate, then fired several thundershocks at it. The Ditto's eyes widened at the oncoming wave of attacks, and began dodging to the left and right. While the wild Pokemon avoided the first few electric strikes, it eventually ran out of luck as a bolt hit its back leg, sending him sprawling and getting hit by another four bolts of electricity. Despite taking a sizable amount of damage, the wild Ditto got back up and turned to Electra, albeit now more winded and bits of its original goo starting to show. However, it seemed as though the Ditto decided to take a page out of Electra's page, and spun around before firing a thundershock at Electra, the electric attack flying in an horizontal arc at the original Electric Mouse Pokemon. Electra, realizing that she couldn't dodged to the side to avoid the attack, tried to jump over it, but a second Thundershock knocked her back down to the ground and into the path of the electric arc.
"Electra!!" He cried out as Electra was hit by the arc of voltage, and she collapsed on all fours, small shocks travelling across her body and restricting her movement. Mitchell's exclamation caused for the Ditto to look in his direction, and the wild Pokemon glared at him before launching an electric attack at Mitchell, the teenager dodging towards the cornstalks to avoid the electric attack. OK, this is definitely not good!, Mitchell thought in despair, then looked at the nearby cornstalks and remembered a technique his teacher taught him to defend himself from wild Pokemon. Admittedly, it's not supposed to be used in battles, but I think that this is an exception, he thought as he looked around to check if everyone else was preoccupied. With no one looking in his direction, he turned at the Ditto who had launched the attack at him and lifted his palms outwards, his eyes beginning to glow a light blue aura and a few cornstalks next to him became enveloped in the same aura. Time for some payback, Mitchell thought before thrusting his arms forwards, and the cornstalks rushed towards the transformed Pokemon.
"Rise," He intoned as he gestured upwards, and the cornstalk twisted down before sweeping upwards, the Ditto being knocked up into the air. Mitchell followed this by sweeping his arm down, and the cornstalk whipped the Ditto down into the ground. With the wild Pokemon now vastly weakened than from the beginning of the battle, as seen by the Ditto struggling to move and it's body starting to collapse back to its gooey state. With the Ditto visibly close to collapsing, Mitchell took out his last Harvest Ball and threw it at the Ditto. This had better work, Mitchell thought as the Pokeball sucked the Ditto in and began to shake back and forth. As the ball continued to try to catch the Ditto, Mitchell walked back over to Electra and picked her up, the stalks he had been controlling falling to the ground with nothing controlling them anymore. "You just couldn't stop fighting, could you Electra?" He said with a soft smile, and Electra gave him a weak glare before falling fast asleep, the battle finally taking its toll on her.
Edit: Congratulations! Ditto was caught! Would you like to give ditto a nickname?
