Nikki is a native of Pallet Town. Her childhood was a happy one, even if it was somewhat unconventional. She grew up in a nice house with a loving mother and father until the age of six. She remembers her birthday as the day her father left to join the war, although she had no idea what that meant. Her mother became increasingly depressed over the next couple of years. Many of the adults in town gave them odd looks and Nikki being so young couldn't understand. She never knew that her father had joined Team Rocket. However, her mother knew and so did many of the townspeople. Her mother was determined to shake off the shame her husband's decision and prove she was an independent woman. Soon she started designing clothes and launched a career that had her traveling often. The child always figured that because her father left on April fools day that the things he said must have been a joke. She was frustrated that her mother didn't understand he was coming back. She was glad to see her happy again when she started designing, but she did miss her terribly. Her sadness was short lived as she was left in the care of her free-spirited Grandmother.

Nikki is a little ditzy. She doesn't have book smarts but she is very sensitive to other people's feelings. This allows her to make friends easily but also has the drawback of making her easily influenced.

Because of her unusual upbringing she is a bit quirky and sometimes views situations differently than others. She is optimistic. She loves to party and is rarely bothered by responsibilities.

Nikki is looking for companions to travel with and have adventures either for the long term or just a short time. She has an outgoing and friendly personality. She is very trusting and open to friendships. She is naïve enough to give the benefit of the doubt to everyone (even if they don't deserve it). I left her history vague enough that it's possible she could have known characters from Pallet Town from school.

It seems unlikely she would have any enemies, at least at first. She is friendly and not very competitive. She may decide not to associate with certain people due to a miscommunication but she isn't likely to have many rivals.

Nikki has the "Team Rocket" mentality that her Pokémon should protect and serve her. Depending on who she associates with she may be influenced to join either side of the conflict.

Nikki loves the chocolate chip waffles her grandma always made and dancing in public. As far as relationships go she hasn't had much luck so far. She has never had a boyfriend or a date. Which is probably good because she can never find her shoes when she needs them anyways.
