Lyn brushed her hair to the side, and took in the sea air. Times seemed dire to say the least, but they certainly weren't going to get better by her not talking in the sights. The young woman was sailing along, having hired a sailor and his speedboat to get her to Pallet. She didn't have time to wait on some ferry, despite its cheaper price tag. She rationalized the cost with not having to fight a line of small children at Oak’s lab. Lyndis just hoped the man was in, and that no one was interviewing him, she certainly wasn't going to wait, but after all she'd had to deal with thus far, things going smoothly would be a nice change of pace.
Before long they had reached port, Lyn reached into her coat pocket and checked the clock on her prototype music player.
“Thanks, we're ahead of schedule, here’s a tip, and be careful, Seafoam was looking a little dicey.”
She said in a rather matter of fact manner giving the slightest of smiles. The older gentlemen tipped his hat; he didn’t seem all that worried. Seemed he had been the seafaring type for quite a few years from the looks of it. Lyndis adjusted her glasses, fixed her hair, straightened her coat, and held her briefcase close.
Taking out a compact, she made sure everything was proper, and then gave herself a confident nod. Nothing new, it wasn’t all that different than having a meet and greet with positional business partners. Though now there was nothing to hold her back, she was going to take the lead, and do whatever was necessary. Without hesitation, she burst into the lab, holding her Silph ID high, her voice booming throughout the building.
“Attention! My name in Lyndis Agrias Hawthorn, senior Silph executive, and I have urgent business with Professor Oak!”
