Personality: At school, Kenta is the quiet student that excelled at his studies, but rarely made any effort to socialise with others unless he needed to (like for an assessment). Despite his loner like nature though, he is quite kind, polite and considerate to others because that was how he was brought up to be by his parents who work alongside and with the community. He takes a very calculated and logical approach to most things and situations, but will occasionally try to overcome things not in his favour.

History: Kenta is a local of Pallet Town who grew up and went to school there, and even though it was common for children to want to go beyond the town to explore the world, he was quite happy staying in the town. He did well at school, when it came to general studies and Poke’mon related ones, and the knowledge of such pocket was enough for him, he didn’t need to own one for himself.
He sometimes helped his mother in the local flower shop, usually with deliveries and such, and occasionally fishes with his grandfather. To date his most favourite pastime with be with his father, testing his Poke’mon technologies, keeping them maintained, and serving a salesmen at times for his customers. Perhaps he did not want to venture to the outer world because well, Poke’mon were everywhere right at home.
As the years went by and Kenta grew into a young man, his parents thought it would be a waste on his youthful years for him to just limit himself to the town itself. As parents who have settled down, they had no need to move around unlike when they were younger. So when a golden opportunity was found for the boy, they took it for his sake.
