Lanore is a very studious young girl, often taking more joy in reading in a library for hours as opposed to playing outside. She tends to know a great deal in general about the world from the many books she reads, And often basis what an area should be like based soley on what she's read about a location, rather than knowledge from actually going there.
She can be very arrogant at times, and belives only those with enough knowledge can really make it in the world. Often making high grades in her classes she was deemed a 'Prodigy' by her teachers, a title she embraced, if only to further her knowledge in her subjects.
Though she does care for Pokémon Lanore feels the more techicul aspects such as moves, type choices and such influence actual battling more than ones feelings towards their pokemon. When confronted with things she actually doesn't known the pre teen will often become confused or irritated, though she loves coming up with (at least in her mind) sure fire stratagies for victory, her irritation and anger again rises if they fail.
Because of a lack of any real companionship outside her family Lanore is terrible at Idenfying social cues. Such as if someone is flirting with her, or even to the point of not understanding what she's be saying could hurt the another persons feelings
Family: She has a mother named Nemu who is very well known for her skill as a breeder and caretaker for Pokemon, although she shares a very close bond with said mother, she knows very little of her father as he very rarely visits spending almost all his time traveling the world as a trainer, named Roku
History:
Born in Viridian City Lanore was brought up for the most part by her mother Nemu, her father often gone from home due to traveling with his pokemon. From a young age her mother attempted to get her daughter to follow in her footsteps as a breeder, though she soon discovered her dsughter was more interested in learning about the sibject than actually praticing it.
To this end her mother enrolled her in the Pokemon Academy, a fact that delighted the young girl to no end. In school Lanore excelled in class work I'm her subjects, and because much of what the teachers taught her was practical stuff, pretty much 'answer a certain way' to pass, she often surpassed her peers in class due to her over studius nature, much to the ire of her fellow students, though her teachers did like having such a pupil in their classes.
Eventually Lanore graduated on her twelth birthday, top of the class of course. When she returned home that day to inform her mother of the good news she had a very interesting letter for Lanore.....
