Personality: The biggest problem that Zackary is that he aims to be a perfectionist. Even the littlest of mistakes is enough to drive him mad. Once in class, someone who was working on a school project with him misaligned something for their model and caused him to snap at them. He also has a really bad phobia of fire, especially when confronted with a Fire Type Pokémon. Zackary also has a sarcastic nature due to the influence of his older brother.
Despite Zackary’s flaws, he is a hard worker who doesn’t ask for anything in return and is friendly. He understands that in order for him to become a researcher for Pokémon like his father, he must also be willing to work with others. Another positive trait that Zackary has is that he’s very optimistic about every situation.

History: The story of Zackary Wilson begins when his family and him first lived in Viridian City. His father would head to the forest almost every day to study the habits of insect Pokémon. While his father went off to handle his research, Zackary’s mother would start her day at a stand she built herself to help maintain Pokémon health. His brother and him were then left off to attend school.
After a few years, Zackary would head into the forest alongside his father whenever he got the chance. He learned about interesting things that he never knew about Pokémon, causing him to want to be like his father. When his brother learned that, he would tease Zackary, saying that becoming a Pokémon Champion was the only goal a person should have.
Despite his older brother’s mocking his dreams, Zackary never stopped traveling with his father and helping him whenever an emergency broke out during their research. As time passed by, the more curious the teenage became about wanting to learn all that he could. He even managed to talk his father into moving to Pallet Town so that he could have the chance to meet the great Professor Oak.
His father decided that it might be best if they should, mostly so that he could study the waters near Pallet Town. After they finally managed to, Zackary also thought that it was time that he should venture out into the world with a Pokémon that he learned that Professor Oak could give him. He also wanted to show his older brother who already left to become a trainer, and defeat him. Zackary would also make sure to remember that research as more important.
All that awaited him next, was Professor Oak giving him his Pokémon to start his adventure. He already knew which one he wanted, but he wondered how his Pokémon would act. Working with his father has taught him that every Pokémon had a different personality and weren’t all the same. He personally hoped that they would be willing to help him understand the world they lived in more.
