Come and explore the Kanto Region in an Alternate Universe where Professor Oak’s Grandson has become the Pokemon Champ, but his rival has gone missing! Without a hero to stop Team Rocket, they have grown more and more powerful. Saffron City is still on lockdown and the police can't stop the gangsters, and the Pokemon League has refused to involve itself!
We are a laid back community that is always looking for more new friends to role play with, we hope that you will explore our site and consider joining us! A new champion has arisen! But is now the the time for the world to be focusing on sports? Team Rocket has completely taken over Saffron City, and the only trainer who dared challenged them has not been heard from in months.
With all the happenings of late, Professor Oak is in need of a new field research team! Even the same species of Pokemon vary widely between individuals! Grab your Pokeballs and head over to Pallet Town!
Welcome to a brand new year everyone! With the new year comes some big changes! We are switching to an idea that came about by accident with our new Mod Kabuto and Jan Hall. Wild encounters will now have a writing prompt from a pokemod, but the rest will be handled by solo posts of the trainers. Trainers now have control over adding their experience gains and pokemon to their Pokedex, this will help to reduce downtime! The much anticipated Trainer Specializations are now available!

(OOC: I think that we should post when we can (no turn order) when it comes to the battles since we’re handling them separately IC (it seems), until we’re all done and meet up with Isilme after. Just throwing that out there, what I plant to do anyway.)
Kenta was surprised that the Paras popped out of the Poke’ball so fast and easily, then he realised what he did wrong. “I was too hasty to catch it, I need to make sure it’s weak enough not to resist capture…” the trainer reminded himself. The Spearow he caught was already weakened before he caught it, and he battled the Magicarp he had now too.
He followed its movements as the bug Poke’mon got on a tree branch. “Kojaku, keep an eye on and it use Leer on eye contact!” Kenta told his Spearow that soon was circling about the tree, then gave the Paras a leer as it flew in front of it. “Good! Now peck it off the tree!” he added on. Kojaku then swooped and gave the Paras a mighty and fast peck that was enough to fling it off the tree branch
(☆Mod Kabuto☆, I hope it’s okay if I just get a post about the Paras instead, even if it’s not a capture post)

((I would prefer it span multiple posts. Instead of handling them all alone you guys could help each other (or make the wilds you have control over jump into the fight). It should still be possible to roleplay normally without branching off, you all don't have to clear the pokemon all at once unless that is what you prefer))
Welcome to Pokemon Nostalgia! Thank you for visiting our site! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns, thank you!
The Paras let out a cry as the Spearow pecked it in its side, and fell towards the ground after being knocked off of the branch it had been on. Realizing that it would be attacked again if it was spotted, the Paras twisted in the air to face the tree trunk, then drew closer to the trunk. Upon landing on the ground, the Paras quickly dispersed a thick cloud of poisonous powder towards all nearby beings (Kenta Nakashima and Enryu). With a cover now hiding the Mushroom Pokemon, the Paras rushed through the poisonous spores to safety, scratching at anything that moved near it.
Damian watched all the battles unfold, Damian being normal odd Damian decided to climb a tree and fall asleep he had been completely relaxed as he listened to battles. Sadly Pyrus suddenly jumped off the tree and began running towards something, Damian assumed Pyrus wanted an item they dropped on the floor but when he saw the charmander running faster he let out a sigh and rolled off the branch to the ground.
Ok ,ok bud slow down, He followed Pyrus until he pointed to a shrub and revealed a small yellow Pokemon that had been watching the whole event. a small pokemon with a yellow face motionlessly pretending to be a normal plant Damian looked towards Pyrus. burn down the whole shrub he spoke carelessly as Pyrus stuck his burning tail into the bush which caused it to catch fire. That action caused the Pokemon to try and stay still until Damian left but he didn't so when it was near the point of burning it jumped out coughing because of the smoke.
Damian threw a Pokeball that released Cerberus as he already came out in defensive form. The Pokemon Damian had named after a demon dog seemed to communicate with Pyrus but the charmander didn't listen and ran towards the bellsprout using scratch. The attack was focused on the plant's face but it seemed to resist after a few scratches and used vine whip. The attack forced Pyrus back so the charmander finally listened to cerberus and used smokescreen after that, cerberus emerged from the cover of the smoke to bite the plant a few times and nibble on it like a chew toy. Damian laughed and sat down seems like you two have it under control Damian hadn't seen Cerberus in action so watching the dog try to lead was amusing.
Cerberus was getting irritated by the vine whips to his jaw as the bellsprout tried to protect itself so after nibbling, Cerberus threw the bellsprout towards the ground and Pyrus used ember to weaken it. The bellsprout had however managed to come back from the attack So Pyrus used dragon rage to distract the plant type while cerburus used bite again. Eventually it gave in and passed out then Cerberus spat it and went to sit beside Damian. Pyurs sat on the other side of Damian but gave the other Pokemon an annoyed glare, He wasn't used to Damian working with anyone else unaware no one could take its place.

“Kojaku, don’t lose sight of it!” Kenta called to his Spearow, which used its keen eyes to keep tabs on the Paras as it knocked it to the ground. Kenta was about to corner the Paras, but it let out some dangerous looking gas again. “Fly over and corner it from the other side with another peck!” the trainer gave another command to his Spearow.
“Spearow!” Kojaku quickly took it to the air where the poison powder would not reach it, it flew right over it and then flew back to rocket towards the Paras. It hover just above the ground to try a peck with such momentum it would damage and also trip the Paras over if it hit. “Spear-spear!” the bird Poke’mon cried to alert its trainer of its location.
Kenta meanwhile hesitated at the poison powder blocking their path, having Enryu use a fire attack might light the forest on fire, the Paras had the home advantage here too. “Come on Enryu, we’ll have to go around it and catch up with Kojaku, hopefully he’ll keep the little guy still,” he told his Charmelon before they both quickly ran around the expanding gas to approach the Paras from the other side. He hoped the others wouldn’t be worried and go check up on him, last thing he wanted was to inhale whatever the Paras produced.
Soon Kenta caught up with his Spearow, with Enryu the Charmeleon by his side. “Okay you two, we need to keep it in place so I can catch it properly later. Give it a leer and scary face!” Kenta commanded his Poke’mon. The Spearow and Charmeleon promptly gave the poor Paras scary and intimidating ‘I will wreck you if you try to run again’ like faces in an attempt to paralyse it with fear.
Even though the Paras had been quite intimidated by the duo's faces, it quickly broke out of the Pokeball and released a thick cloud of stun spore before scuttling towards the fowards to safety. While the trainer and his Charmeleon had avoided the poisonpowder earlier, at least one of the opposing Pokemon would be affected by the stun spore due to the close proximity.

“Spear!” Kojaku quickly warned its fellow Charmeleon by going in front of it and then flapping its wings in and attempt to blow the stun spore away, but its efforts were not enough and it fell on its back, unable to move. “Kojaku return!” Kenta quickly recalled his Spearow back before he turned to his Charmeleon. “It’s up to you Enryu, get on a tree and go after it, I'll catch up to you later, remember no fire attacks!” he told Enryu, who them prompted backed off and climbed up a tree.
“Meleon!” Enryu the Charmeleon was angry at the Paras for what it did, and decided to chase after it but climbing the trees and hopping to another in pursuit of the mushroom Poke’mon. “Char!” it quickly caught up with the bug and let out a fierce upwards scratch towards its face in a fury.
The Paras flinched and was sent backwards as the Charmeleon scratched it in an upward swipe, and landed prone on its back from the attack. In spite of this, the Paras, while struggling, managed to get back on its feet and glared at the Charmeleon before letting out another cloud of poisonous powder at the Charmeleon.

“Char!” The Charmeleon growled at the Paras at its persistence, then soon saw it emit the same powder as before. Without his trainer around, he could do what it wanted, even go through the harmful powder to hit the bug Poke’mon again.
“No! Enryu back down! Don’t go into it, it isn’t worth it!” Kenta called at Enryu just in time, so the Charmeleon reluctantly just continued to walk back out of range of the poison powder. He could barely see the orange through the purple powder, then took a Poke’ball out once again.“I got to catch it before it spreads out more of that gas, Poke’ball go!” he declared, throwing the Poke’ball to hit the Paras to capture it again.
The Paras let out a cry of surprise at the Pokeball flew into the cloud of spores and captured the Mushroom Pokemon. While the Paras had taken a lot more damage than the last time it had been caught, it was barely able to escape and, using the rest of the spore cloud as a cover, ran into the nearby bushes to escape from the battle, releasing a cloud of stun spores to cover its escape.
(The (actual) catch was a very close failure! Perhaps third time's the charm, Kenta Nakashima?)

(it’s all good, me and Damian are quite similar now I think about it xD)
"Damn it, there it goes again. Enryu, go after it on the trees, corner it from the other side of the powder, I'm going to circle around it again. Give me a growl once you get it!" Kenta called at his Charmeleon as the two split off to trap the Paras within their grasp again. The lizard Poke'mon climbed up the tree and went off ahead of the spores and then landed a couple of metres away from where he assumed the Paras was hiding. "Char char!" it called out to its training with a loud growl.
Kenta soon caught up to see Enryu stand in front of some bushes with spores around it, it was where the trail had ended so he assumed the Paras was there "Let's lure it out, aim a dragon rage just above the bushes, make sure not to hit anything though, we don't want to burn the forest," he told his fire Poke'mon.
"Charmeleon-chaaaa-rah!" The Charmeleon nodded at its trainer before opening its mouth to charge up a swirling ball of blue flames. It then let it out gently so it would go over the bushes where Paras would be hiding, like a flamethrower to force it to scurry out.
“Let’s try this again, Poke’ball go!” Kenta yelled and threw another Poke'ball out once the Paras went out to be in his sights once again, now this time he hoped it’ll work, he was running out of Poke’balls as it was.
[☆Mod Kabuto☆: Kenta used another Poke'ball at the Paras! Btw, does anyone remember how many Poke'balls we started off with? Just want to know how many I'll have left after this post. I know I used 2 before, and 3 (including this throw) in this topic.]
The Paras let out a shriek as the Charmeleon let out a ball of blue flame over the bushes and, thinking that its cover had caught on fire, rushed out of the bushes and into the Pokeball's reach. With adrenaline still coursing through it, the Paras broke out of the Pokeball before scuttling between Enryu and Kenta Nakashima, leaving a trail of poisonous powder behind it.
(The catch was a failure! As for how many Pokeballs you have left, it's 1 left. Perhaps you could use a Harvest Ball for better chance?)

Kenta thought he had it in the bag at last, but the Paras still managed to break through, its stubbornness was noted. “Tch, this is getting annoying. But if it’s giving me such a hard time, it’ll be worth catching…” Kenta said, looking to his belt to see how many Poke’balls he had left, he had a regular one and two harvest balls from Pappy’s farm. He used one in an attempt to catch a Ditto, so he wasn’t too sure how much better it was, but still it’ll be worth a shot and he’ll have one left after.
“After it! You take the other side Enryu!” he called to his Charmeleon as they split up to pincer the Paras as they quickly ran ahead of it. “Jump and aim another dragon rage in its path Enryu!” With the command, the Charmeleon leaped up into the air, charging up blue fore then shot out a ball of it that made a small explosion right in front of the Paras to knock it back into the poison powder it left behind.
Kenta’s eyes widened as he noticed Enryu was going to land into the poison powder below it and quickly took out its Poke’ball. “Enryu, return!” He managed to withdraw it back just in time, he needed his starter to venture the rest of the forest after all. “There you are, go!” Seeing a bit of orange, Kenta threw a harvest ball at the Paras, he was reaching his limit of patience so this was possibly his last try.
(☆Mod Kabuto☆: Kenta threw a harvest ball at the Paras. 1 poke’ball and 1 harvest ball left)
